Welcome to a new season!
As the leadership team of Radnor Soccer Club (RSC), we’re pleased to welcome you to another exciting soccer season! Whether you are returning or new to our club, we are thrilled to have you as part of our community. Our club is committed to developing skilled athletes and fostering a passion for the game through teamwork and sportsmanship.
This season, we aim to build on our tradition of excellence by focusing on the development of each player, both on and off the field. Our dedicated coaches and volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure that every player, regardless of age or skill level, has a positive experience. We believe in creating an environment where players can learn, grow, and most importantly, enjoy the game.
New Radnor Soccer League (RSL) and RSC Travel Registrar
We’re thrilled to introduce Rob Dallas as our new Registrar for both RSC and RSL. Rob brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to this role, and we’re confident he’ll continue to be an invaluable asset to our soccer club. As the Registrar (and current RSC Travel Team Coach), Rob will be handling all registration processes, player documentation, and team assignments, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Please join me in welcoming Rob to our soccer family. We would also like to thank Rob’s predecessor, Joe Capone, for his many years of service in this role. Joe has been a valuable part of our team over the years as the club has grown.
Involvement
Our soccer club thrives because of the active participation of our families. We encourage you to get involved—whether by cheering on the sidelines, volunteering for events, or assisting with team activities. A big thank you to our team managers, whose contributions are essential to our team’s success. RSC will be holding a Zoom meeting for all managers on Wednesday, September 4th, at 8:00 PM. More details will be shared separately with all managers.
Sportsmanship
At RSC, we encourage parents to cheer enthusiastically for their team’s players while refraining from coaching from the sidelines. Clapping, cheering, and words of encouragement are always welcome! Limiting the number of voices providing instruction allows coaches to effectively guide the team and players. It also helps players stay focused on one source of instruction rather than multiple avenues of information. This helps maintain a positive environment and keeps the focus on what truly matters in youth sports. Players should concentrate on being good teammates, having fun, and fostering a competitive spirit. Let’s work together to create a supportive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved!
We kindly ask parents to observe a 24-hour cooling-off period before emailing coaches or club administrators with concerns, unless it’s an emergency.
Communication
To keep you informed throughout the season, we’ll regularly share updates via email/TeamSnap, our club website, or Instagram (@radnorsoccerclub). Please keep an eye out for important announcements regarding schedules, events, and other club-related news. If you have any specific questions about your team, please contact your team manager or Coach.
We’re looking forward to a season filled with fun, growth, and memorable moments on the field. Let’s work together to make this a rewarding season for all of our players. Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to a fantastic season ahead!
