Radnor Soccer League

Overview

Radnor Soccer League (“RSL”), is the "intraclub" division of Radnor Soccer Club designed to introduce soccer to our youngest players and provide a forum where older players can continue to play and develop in soccer without the commitment expectations of travel soccer.

RSL is open to all youth, grades K-12, that want to learn more about the sport, improve their skills, and enjoy playing the game.

Note: RSL Programs are open to non-residents of Radnor Township and we welcome players from across the southeast PA region to play.

RSL programs follow the US Youth Soccer mandate for small-sided games. RSL offers two programs; a full soccer season in the fall and a clinic program in the spring. Both programs foster a fun, and safe, environment for all players. The league is broken down by grade level and by gender, creating a non-intimidating environment for children and promoting strong team friendships and community engagement.

RSL is focused on participation, team building, and sportsmanship as it serves as the foundation for youth athletes to improve and enjoy the game in a competitive environment.

Younger division teach players ball handling skills and help them improve coordination with fun games and activities so that they can learn to love the game.

As players move up into the older age group divisions, practices become more structured with age appropriate drills, field position training, ball control, and strategy. Games begin to be scored and the professional coaches and referees become more involved.

The RSL program is led by the dedicated volunteers within our township who work closely with our RSL Coaching Director and our professional coaching staff to provide a structured training curriculum that affords our players the ability to develop into strong, confident individuals who appreciate teamwork, commitment, and pride in being a part of the Radnor Soccer Club.

Champions Division Soccer

The Champions Division is Radnor Soccer Club's exciting soccer program designed specifically for boys and girls with special needs. The program emphasizes teamwork and social skills while introducing participants to the game of soccer. This program is designed for special needs participants of all ability levels with an emphasis on fun and fundamentals, not competition. Our professional coaches and volunteers work together to create a fun, friendly, and positive environment for all participants.

This spring, Radnor Soccer Club will be sponsoring a skills and drills program on Saturday mornings for children with special needs in grades K-8.
