Important Information & Registration
An Important Message from the Head of RSL
Like all of you, the RSC Board of Directors and staff continue to monitor the impact of COVID-19 and we’re working closely with our Township, and other local agencies, for guidance around our upcoming fall season and I’m pleased to share that we continue to receive positive indications that our community’s youth will return to the fields this fall to play soccer. For this reason, player registration is open for the 2020 RSL fall season and we encourage everyone to register as soon as possible so that we can get an idea of the total number of players for each age group.
During this rapidly changing time, the Radnor Soccer Club is taking every necessary precaution to protect the well-being of our players, families, and fellow neighbors. This moment in our history transcends sport and is a time for all of us to come together and take care of each other.
With our focus on fall season, we look forward to brighter and better days ahead. I know I speak for all of us when I say I can’t wait to see our fields filled again with the youth of our community and their pure joy for sports.
At this time, we know one thing for sure, this season will feel different from any other we’ve seen in the past. Assuming no unforeseen setbacks, RSL is planning to start the 2020 fall season on schedule the first week after Labor Day. Games will begin the week following and run through mid-November. Games will be held weekly on Saturdays and practice for each age group one night per week.
We will continue to provide regular updates as we near the expected start of this year’s season. Parents can rest assured that if events preclude us from being able to proceed with a season this fall that they will receive a refund or credit of registration fees if appropriate.
In closing, I want to express a sincere thank you to our medical heroes who are on the front-line fighting COVID-19, many of whom are from our extended Radnor Soccer Club family. The support of Radnor families has always meant everything to us, but never more so than now. I thank you and send best wishes to you and your families.
We will emerge a stronger community and rise up against COVID-19! Be safe and stay healthy.
