Grant Myers

Director of U7 Futures Academy, Coach of 2011 Boys Samba and Coach of 2010 Boys Samba Fusion

One of the best youth soccer coaches in the region, Grant served for many years as the head coach for Valley Forge Military College's Men's Varsity team. Before that, Grant was on the staff of the Harriton High School boys varsity, Marple Newtown High School boys varsity and Lower Merion High School boys varsity. In 2008, Grant's Lower Merion team won the Central League and District One championships.

Grant's LMSC Ding team won the EPYSA indoor state championship two years in a row, as well as the 2014 Outdoor State championship. In 2014, they were also champions in the fall Atlantic Premier League (comprised of the top teams from New Jersey, Maryland and Eastern Pennsylvania). In the fall of 2013, the Ding went undefeated and finished with the top record in the Delco Soccer League's top division. In 2009, Grant's LMSC Rat Pack team won the state championship. They were state finalists in 2008 and 2010. He was also asssistant coach for the two-time state champion FC Delco Cannibals. Grant also served as a head coach for the FC Delco Academy Program. One of his former players, Matthew Real, captained the U.S. U-20 team to the 2918 CONCACAF championship and now plays for the Philadelphia Union.

Grant played for the Lock Haven University's Men's team before moving on to play semi-professionally for many years.
