Alan Mezger
Alan Mezger
Alan’s been coaching and directing soccer for over 30 years in Southeastern PA. His head coaching career began as the Varsity Soccer Coach at Radnor High School from 1999-2002, winning the school’s first district titles in 2000 & 2002 and reaching the PIAA state playoffs in three of his four seasons in charge.
From 2003-2004 he assumed the role of assistant coach at Villanova University where after nine consecutive losing seasons, the team had its first consecutive winning seasons, including bids to the Big East playoffs.
While coaching for FC DELCO between 1999-2010,his teams won 3 USYSA National Championships (2001, 2002, 2003) & 5 Regional Championships (2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2009). In 2007 Alan was named Director of FC DELCO and transitioned them into the US Soccer Academy/MLS Next league.
Alan came out of soccer retirement in 2018 to run Radnor Soccer Club with his long-time colleague and friend, Kirk Johnson, following in his father’s footsteps who was a former President of Radnor Soccer Club in the mid to late 1980’s.
Alan played high school soccer for Radnor High School and his college soccer at Lehigh and Villanova University. He has taught social studies at Radnor High School since 2000.
Kirk Johnson
Kirk Johnson
Dr. Kirk Johnson has been coaching for over 20 years in the greater Philadelphia region.
He has served in roles such as Director of Coaching - FC DELCO, Assistant Coach - West Chester University, & Assistant Coach - Villanova University. He has been the Director of Coaching for Radnor Soccer Club since 2018.
Kirk played his high school soccer at Downingtown High School and his college soccer at Syracuse University where he earned athletic and academic honors.
In addition to coaching, Kirk is currently the Instructional Coach for Downingtown High School West.
Alex Balog
Alex Balog
Alex Balog is entering his third season with Radnor Soccer Club as the Director of Goalkeeping. Balog is also the Assistant Coach at nearby Villanova, where working with the ‘keepers is one of his responsibilities.
Prior to joining RSC, he was the Boys Director of Coaching at ECNL club FC Bucks. Before Nova, Balog was the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at NCAA DII Montana State University Billings.
Previous stops at the collegiate level include Auburn University Montgomery and Christian Brothers University, Balog’s Alma Mater.
Joe Caruolo
Joe Caruolo
Joe Caruolo is a local soccer coach, player, and educator. He holds a USC (United Soccer Coaches) Premier Diploma and currently serves as the Head Coach for Radnor High School Boys Soccer. Under his leadership, the team won the District One 3A titles in 2016 and 2023 and was a 2018 PIAA 4A State Finalist.
Joe has been the Boys Varsity Head Coach since 2012. He also coached the Radnor High School Girls Soccer team for six years (2006-2011), achieving a record of 75-25-14. As an assistant coach, he contributed to the Boys team's victory in the 2014 PIAA 2A State Championship.
In addition to his high school coaching career, Joe coached for the nationally acclaimed FC DELCO club on the Boys side for seven years, during which the team won a U-18 Boys NCS State Cup Championship in 2013.
As a player, Joe excelled at Archbishop Carroll High School, where he was a two-time captain, Catholic League MVP of the Southern Division, and All-Southeastern Pennsylvania. He continued his soccer career at Villanova University, earning both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree and serving as a two-time captain on the Men’s Soccer Team.
Joe Caruolo is also currently an English teacher at Radnor High School.
James Cellucci
James Cellucci
James Cellucci is entering his sixth season with Radnor Soccer Club. James grew up playing in Radnor Soccer Club and attended Radnor High School, where he was named captain his senior year.
James then went on to play at Penn State Brandywine. There he was a three-time captain and All-American. His senior year, they went on to win the USCAA National Championship.
A couple years after graduating, James spent three years as an assistant coach at Cabrini University.
Stephen Chareczko
Stephen Chareczko
Stehen Chareczko is entering his 8th year as a coach for Radnor Soccer Club. Prior to coaching at RSC, Steph was a coach at the Ukrainian Nationals.
Steph is a graduate of the University of Richmond, where he played his collegiate soccer. Prior to Richmond, Steph was a member of FC Delco as well as the Ukrainian Nationals.
Chris Cornine
Chris Cornine
Chris Cornine is entering his 4th season working with Radnor Soccer Club.
Chris is a graduate of the New Jersey Soccer Academy and former DA player. Chris has worked with several age groups within the club over the years, including the 2012 girls, 2015 girls, 2013 boys, and the Radnor Futures programs. Chris is also a coach in the Downingtown West Girls Soccer program, entering his 5th year with the program.
Chris is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and in addition to coaching, he is a Life Skills teacher at Downingtown High School West.
Matt Cox
Matt Cox
Matt Cox joined Radnor Soccer Club in 2020. Prior to joining RSC, Matt held coaching positions with Philadelphia Union Pre‐Academy 2018‐2020, FC Delco Pre‐Academy Team 2010‐2012 as the Assistant coach responsible for designing and implementing training sessions designed to improve upon players weaknesses, Harriton High School, Rosemont, PA, 2010 as the Assistant Varsity Coach where he guided the team through formation play and helped them reached the district semi‐finals. The team finished with a 10‐7‐1 overall record (5‐5‐1 in the Central League).
Other positions include; Bayard Rustin High School Varsity Boys Assistant Coach, West Chester, PA, 2009, Bayard Rustin High School Junior Varsity Boys Head Coach, West Chester, PA, 2008, and Lower Merion Soccer Club from 2008‐2015.
Matt played professional soccer for South Jersey Barons, Atco, New Jersey, USA 2002 as midfield and defense in the D3 Pro‐league.
Matt has his United States Soccer Federation “E” License, his undergraduate from Saint Joseph’s University in Education, his teacher certification K‐6, and health and physical education teaching certificates.
Rob Dallas
Rob Dallas
A Radnor township native, Rob has been coaching soccer in the area for over 25 years.
As the longtime head of the Cabrini Men’s Soccer program Dallas has amassed over 120 collegiate wins including several conference championships. After coaching with FC Delco, Harleysville, FCUSA (Steel), and Sporting Pa, Dallas landed with Radnor Soccer Club where he has been for a number of years. After years of coaching RSC’s oldest age group Dallas is currently leading the 2013 & 2012 Boys age groups.
A lifelong area resident, Dallas is a graduate of Radnor High School and a product of the Radnor Soccer Club. Dallas attended Millersville University where he played 4 years of varsity soccer before graduating with a BS in Secondary Education. Dallas later went on to complete his Masters in leadership at Cabrini University as well.
Nick D’Achille
Nick D'Achille
Nick is entering his second season working with Radnor Soccer Club, helping with both the high school boys age group and the 2015 Boys Group as well.
Prior to joining on at Radnor, Nick played 3 years of Division III soccer at Cabrini University and is now heading into his senior year of college at Saint Joseph's University. Nick also attended Haverford High School and played his club soccer with FC USA/Steel United.
Nick is also currently working on achieving his USSF D license.
Kyle Shilcock-Elliott
Kyle Shilcock-Elliott
After more than 20 years coaching at Radnor High School as both the head boys coach and an assistant, this will be Kyle’s first year coaching with RSC.
A Radnorite through and through, Kyle grew up playing for RSC in the 80’s and 90’s under his father, Jeff Elliott, who was a founding member of RSC and its first ever president.
After completing a hall of fame career playing at Radnor High School, Kyle went on to play at the University of Delaware where he was a 4-year starter and 2-year captain. In addition to his career coaching at RHS he has also coached for FC Delco at the ages of U19 and U23.
Kyle’s most impressive coaching achievements include leading Radnor High School to its only ever state championship and also winning 2 national titles with FC Delco.
Nate Farmer
Nate Farmer
Nate grew up in Cheltenham, England. He played soccer since he could walk and played in some very successful sides for youth and mens teams. Nate played lower level semi professional soccer for his local team Bishops Cleeve in his late teens.
Life and persistent ankle injuries meant he took a hiatus from playing until 26, he return to play high level local soccer and was assistant manager/player that coached his men’s team to a league and cup double whilst also being top goal scorer that season.
Nate coached mens and youth soccer in the U.K until he moved over to the States in 2012. After a brief spell with LMSC, he joined Radnor in 2019 coaching 2010 Girls red fusion through 2022/23, then 2010 Girls Black and 2015 Girls red fusion in 2023/24 season.
Tim Fisk
Tim Fisk
Tim is entering his fourth season coaching with RSC having worked with various teams on the boys and girls side in the 2012 to 2015 age groups. He was previously a member of the RSC Board of Directors for many years, having served as President from 2019 - 2020.
As a player, growing up in Louisville, Tim had a prominent youth career where he was a perennial member of the Region II ODP team and a member of the U16 National Team pool, as well as leading his club team to the U19 National Championship game. He was named Gatorade Player of the Year and NSCAA All-American in his senior year.
In college, Tim played his freshman year at Colgate and helped lead CU to its first Patriot League Championship.
After Colgate, he continued his college career at the University of Kentucky, where he was a two-time captain, led the team in assists in his junior and senior year campaigns, and was named to the NSCAA Regional All-American team.
After college, Tim played in the former USISL for two seasons and played on the U23 Amateur National Championship team.
Jordan Griffith
Jordan Griffith
Jordan is entering his eighth season as a coach at RSC having worked with various teams across all age groups.
Prior to coaching at RSC, he coached at FC Delco (then known as Continental FC). During his two seasons at the club he worked with the U9 and U10 age groups.
Jordan had an extensive youth playing career playing for FC Delco, Nether FC, Epysa ODP and Lower Merion Soccer Club.
His youth career led him to play in four national championship games across various competitions, culminating in accepting a scholarship to Villanova University. He played all four years at Villanova and discovered his passion for coaching while serving as a camp coach at Villanova Soccer Camps.
Tom Haney
Tom Haney
Tom has been a soccer coach and mentor to both men and women competing in high-level leagues for over 40 years, and competed for over 30 years.
He is currently the head men’s soccer coach at Montgomery County Community College, where he was recognized in 2017 and 2023 as the NJCAA/EPAC Coach of the Year. In addition to coaching, he also teaches a “Principles of Coaching” class at the college.
Since 2006, he has been coaching the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Olympic Development Team.
He holds a Master’s of Science degree from St. Joseph’s University, a USSF National C license, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and NSCAA Region Goalkeeping Diploma, as well as numerous other soccer certifications.
Bliss Harris
Bliss Harris
Bliss is a former player at St. Joseph’s University, where he was twice named captain and an all-conference awardee his senior year.
He has worked extensively with youth soccer players while coaching for Penn Fusion Academy, FC Delco, the Manchester City Academy (USA), New York Red Bull Youth Programs and Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer’s Olympic Development Program. He was also the Technical Development Manager at Select Soccer Center.
Bliss is currently working on his USSF B License.
Duane Hess

Duane Hess is entering his second season working with the Radnor Soccer Club, coaching the 2013 Boys Red Team and the 2013 Boys Premier.
Duane played his high school soccer at Wyomissing Area High School and collegiately at the United States Naval Academy.
Ken Holiday
Ken Holiday
Ken has coached with Radnor Soccer Club since 2021.
In his youth, he was a member of the FC Delco Black team that appeared in 3 national final fours and won the 2001 National Championship.
Ken was a Regional All American at Upper Moreland High School before competing for the University of Richmond, where he earned First Team All-Conference honors.
George Holiday
George Holiday
George has been coaching soccer for 14 years in southeastern Pa.
His coaching career began at the Upper Moreland Soccer Club where he spent nine years. He came out of soccer retirement and coached at the Patriot Soccer Club for two years and has now coached at the Radnor Soccer Club for three years.
George played at Dickinson College and has a D coaching license.
Ron Klos

Ron is entering his second-year coaching with Radnor Soccer Club.
Prior to coaching at Radnor, Ron had coached at Marple Newtown Soccer Association for over 20 years, coaching various levels of travel soccer (boys and girls) from U9 thru U17. Ron also served as an assistant soccer coach at Marple Newtown High School during the 2017 and 2018 fall soccer seasons.
Ron played as a goalkeeper during high school at Haverford High School and in college at Villanova University.

Jim Merkins
Jim is entering his third year coaching with Radnor Soccer Club, having coached U13, U14, and U16 girls teams. Jim is also the varsity girls soccer coach at Ridley High School.
Prior to coaching at Radnor, Jim had coached at Springfield FC and Springfield AA for over 10 years, coaching various levels of girls travel soccer. Jim also served as the jv and varsity assistant girls soccer coach at Radnor High School during the 2020-2022 fall soccer seasons that included a district championship and state finals appearance (2021) and an undefeated jv season (2020).
Jim played soccer in high school at Cardinal O’Hara and St. James, playing all four years on varsity earning all-catholic honors and was a team captain. Jim also played intramurals at Penn State and club at Widener/Delaware Law.
Jim has two U.S. Soccer coaching licenses (Grassroots & D License).
Rodrigo Nogalas
Rodrigo Nogalas
Rodrigo Nogales grew up in Radnor and graduated from Radnor High School. At Radnor he was a 4‐year starter, captain and 2‐time MVP. Rodrigo won a High School AA state championship with Radnor in 2004.
Rodrigo played his club soccer for Radnor Soccer Club and FC Delco, where he won a few more state championships, a Region I championship and an appearance in the National Championships.
Rodrigo played college soccer at Washington University in St. Louis and Franklin and Marshall College.
He has coached at Radnor High School, and has been coaching at RSC for 13 years.

Morgan Sims
Morgan Sims
Beginning her fourth season with the club, Morgan joined RSC in 2020 as a Coach for our 2008 Girls Premier and 2010 Girls Black teams. Returning as a Coach of the 2016 Girls Black and 2012 Girls Black teams in the 2024-2025 season, it is a core focus for Morgan to create a positive environment for growth and learning on and off the field.
Morgan’s experience as a coach is preceded by a high-quality playing career as one of the top female players in the country. As a four-year varsity player for Upper Dublin High School, Morgan was awarded first team all-conference and first team-all state throughout each of her four-years of her high school career. Morgan’s success yielded national accolades as a player on the 2007 US Youth Soccer ODP National Championship team, the ODP Eastern Pennsylvania state and Region One regional teams, and as a U-17 US National Pool recruit. She went on to be a four-year starter for Stony Brook University’s Division I program where she studied biology and psychology. Morgan was also a standout player for the WPSL’s Philadelphia Liberty/Independence.
Beginning her coaching career during her collegiate playing days, Morgan has a USSF National D License. She has coached for numerous clubs in the tri-state area, for the Eastern Pennsylvania ODP state and Region One programs and collegiately as the assistant women’s soccer coach at Ursinus College.
Morgan is excited to continue her commitment to supporting and growing passion and skill within the environment of youth soccer and as a member of the Radnor Soccer Club.
Taylor Sims
Taylor Sims
Taylor is entering his 13th season coaching and has been with Radnor Soccer Club since 2012.
Taylor has been the Head JV Coach for Radnor High School Boys Soccer and Boys Lacrosse since 2012. He played 4-years Varsity Soccer for Radnor High School, earning a PIAA State Title in 2004.
Growing up, he played for Radnor Soccer Club, winning multiple Division 1 EPYSA titles. Taylor was selected to the Eastern Pennsylvania Senior All Star Team in 2007. He also played all 4 years while attending Immaculata University.
Abel "Mickey" Watson
Abel "Mickey" Watson
Mickey is entering his fourth season as a coach at Radnor. Before that, he attended Episcopal Academy and played for FC DELCO under Alan Mezger.
After his freshman year, Mickey transferred to South Kent School, an all-boys boarding school in Connecticut. At South Kent, he earned recognition as the CT Gatorade State Player of the Year (2014-15) and was named a High School All-American.
Mickey continued his soccer career at Loyola University Maryland, where he captained the team for three years. He received numerous accolades, including being named to the All-Patriot League First Team (2017), earning recognition as a Senior CLASS Award Candidate (2018), and securing a spot on the Preseason All-Patriot League Team (2018). He was also a four-time Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week (2016: 1x; 2017: 3x). He had a season-ending injury his senior year which led to a transfer to Syracuse University for a medical redshirt year. His playing career ended there due to another injury.
Mickey holds a UEFA C Coaching License and brings his wealth of experience and leadership to our program.
Jesse Zafiratos
Jesse Zafiratos
Jesse Zafiratos enters his first year with the Radnor Soccer Club after spending the last eight years with Lower Merion/Sporting Athletic. He is currently the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at NCAA Division II Chestnut Hill College.
Jesse has NCAA Divison III head coaching experience at Cedar Crest College, Hood College (MD) and Rosemont College. He was named 2022 CSAC Coach of the Year and Lehigh Valley Press Coach of the Year after leading Cedar Crest to a 12-4-2 overall record, and the regular season championship.
He spent three years as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Penn State-Brandywine, leading them to three straight PSUAC Championships (2016-2018) and winning the schools first ever USCAA National Championship in 2018. He was named 2017 PSUAC Coach of the Year, and 2018 Philadelphia Inquirer Small College Coach of the Year.
He left Brandywine with a 50-10-3 overall record and was 27-0 in the PSUAC. His college career included three years at NCAA Division III La Roche University (PA), where he scored 21 career goals, served as a senior captain, and helped the Red Hawks qualify for three AMCC postseason appearances.
Jesse played forward at nearby Interboro HS where he tallied 51 career goals and was a 3x first team all league selection. He also earned All-Southeastern Pa honors as a senior and led the Bucs to two PIAA class AAA playoff berths. He sports a career college coaching record of 77-33-8 (.719)
