First Grade Soccer Information
The soccer program for boys and girls in first grade is a great opportunity to start learning and to build on the basics of soccer while having fun in a low-pressure environment. The Radnor Soccer League training program is based on grade years to ensure our young players are with their classmates and friends while on the field.
Any child attending 1st grade in the fall season. Participants must be Radnor Township residents or attend school in Radnor Township.
September through November.
- Boys: Practices will be held Wednesday nights from 6-7PM at Warren Filipone Field.
- Girls: Practices will be held on Thursday nights from 6-7PM at Warren Filipone Field.
- Boys: Saturday, 12-1:30pm at Warren Filipone Field
- Girls: Saturday, 1:30-3pm at Warren Filipone Field
Games will be played according to the USYS rules:
- 4v4 - Four field players and no goalies
- Four 8-minute quarters. Coaches are encouraged to make substitutions in between periods.
Players are placed on parent-coached teams of 8-12 players. You will receive more information about your team in early September. Please be patient; most team notifications occur during the first week of school. Teamsnap will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.
Parent coaches lead all practices and games. Parent coaches will follow the NSCAA curriculum for player development.
If you would like to volunteer to be a parent coach please register through our TeamSnap system.
If you would like to volunteer to be the Vice President of 1st Grade Boys or Girls Soccer please contact David Natt at DavidNatt@RadnorSoccerClub.org.
